The Foundation conducted the 8th meeting of the SEF Board of Governors’ Executive and Finance Committee (E&FC) on 5th June, 2021. The meeting was chaired by eminent economist, Dr. Kaiser Bengali, Chairman E&FC / Member SEF BOGs. The Secretary, School Education & Literacy Department, Govt. of Sindh also attended the meeting along with other members namely Dr. Muhammad Memon, Member SEF BOGs, Dr. Qazi Masood Ahmed, Member SEF BOGs, Mr. Nazir Tunio, Member SEF BOGs, Mr. Husnain Qamar Shah, Member SEF BOGs, and Dr. Fauzia Khan, Additional Secretary, School Education & Literacy Department, Govt. of Sindh. Mr. Abdul Kabir Kazi, Managing Director, SEF presented the agenda to the Committee which entailed progress updates and budgetary and strategic approvals. He briefed the Committee that the Foundation has undertaken a massive exercise to add more than 250,000 children and 1,100 schools in its existing portfolio in line with the commitment of the Government of Sindh. It was also approved that the Foundation will provide scholarships to the students of public or SEF schools at boys and girls Cadet Colleges in Sindh. The Committee lauded the efforts of the Foundation.
